The first 10 minutes of every source video are free; after that each minute costs 0.8 tokens, ×1.5 with Deep Watch, which is on for every video up to 3 hours. Uploading the file instead of pasting a link takes 25% off the per-minute part. So clipping a 1-hour podcast into 10 one-minute clips is about 110 tokens.

AI Shorts and AI Stock Video are priced by length, from 0.3 tokens per second on paid plans (about 9 tokens for 30 seconds); premium voices cost slightly more. You always see the token cost before a job starts.

For clipping, tokens are reserved when the job starts and anything unused is refunded, down to the clips you actually get. The number you ask for is a target: ClipItX returns every clip its AI judges strong enough, which can be fewer.
