How to make an AI film
- Write the idea and the shot list. Break your story into shots: where we are, who is there, what happens.
- Generate each shot. Make each shot from a prompt or an image, and regenerate any you don't like without touching the rest.
- Keep characters consistent. Use your AI characters so the same faces carry through every shot.
- Add voice and sound. Give the film dialogue, voiceover and sound, then export it.

Writing for AI film
AI film rewards the same planning as live action. A short shot list does more for the final result than any single clever prompt.
- Think in coverage. An establishing shot to show where we are, a medium shot for the action, a close-up for the emotion. Three shots can tell a whole beat.
- Repeat the continuity details. Time of day, weather, wardrobe and light belong in every shot's prompt. If it is raining in shot one, say so in shot four.
- Keep shots short. A few seconds per shot, cut together, reads as cinema. One long generated shot rarely does.
- Let sound carry it. Rain, footsteps and a line of dialogue make simple images feel like a film.
Genres that work well
Mood-driven genres suit shot-by-shot building: noir, science fiction, period drama and music videos. Start with a 20 to 30 second piece with one location and one or two characters, then grow from there.
